It is so comforting knowing that our lab pups are field trial and hunt test quality, and will make great hunting and gun dogs, as well as family companions. They come from a long line of popular well recognized bloodlines of champions....some Hall Of Fame Labrador Retriever's. Mikey is a great Grandson off of FC AFC CFC CAFC Barracuda Blue MH. Barracuda Blue is still the highest titled chocolate labrador retriever in history. His titles include Field Champion, Amateur Field Champion, Canadian Field Champion, Canadian Amateur Field Champion, Master Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Junior Hunter. |
| Mikey SH DOB 11-16-2004 Mikey is an outstanding chocolate labrador retriever, capable of marking and retrieving triples. He has the confidence to go to the area of the fall and conduct a hunt, come out with the bird, and retrieve to hand. Mikey runs multiple blinds and is currently training on AKC Master Hunter level work. Rock steady at the line, and very comfortable in the blind waiting for the birds. He is calm until the command to retrieve is given, then he is wide open to the bird. He has a big water entry on marked, as well as blind retrieves. Mikey is well on his way to becoming a champion AKC Master Hunter. Mikey is running UKC events as well. He has been through his Started Hunt Test, and has recently titled in his UKC Seasoned level Hunt Test. He currently has two UKC Finished level passes and hope to get his other two Finished passes in IL the end of Sept. 2008 and receive his UKC Finished Title. He will be running a AKC Master Hunt Test in Oct. 2008. When not working, Mikey is just a lovable teddy bear, and a show off with our girls. Has a wonderful temperament. |
